Hosting Information

Kendall Smith Design have several dedicated servers on which we host websites.

Our equiptment consists of the following:

Server Specifications

• 2.4 GHz Intel Celeron processor
• 512 mb RAM
• Windows Server 2003
• SQL Server 2005
• 99.9% Uptime SLA

Other Items

• Up to 2 Gb of Usable Disk Space (individual requirements can be discussed)
• ASP 3, ASP.Net 1.1 & ASP.Net 2 Support, as well as the FrontPage Server Extensions, so you can access sites via Visual Studio
• POP3 Email Server for each Domain
• Technical Support & Help with setting up domains, sites and anything else you need
• Streaming Video

Kendall Smith Design has purchased these servers to minimise the hassle associated with this aspect of having a website. However you are not bound to use our hosting, if you believe you can find cheaper and more reliable hosting elsewhere you are welcome to do this.

What we require

• Payment, up front for a month of service, on the 10th day of each month, via bank transfer or total for one year, which carries a discount.
• 2 months notification if you wish to cancel, all fees paid are non-refundable.
• Decent Use - e.g. no porn, no warez, nothing illegal, no racism, hate speech, pyramid schemes, spam mail etc. etc.
• Fair Use - no sites that have intense amounts of traffic. If you have high bandwidth sites, we need to discuss them, and appropriate payment to increase the amount of bandwidth we are allowed

Cost of Extras

• Additional IP Address: £1 pcm
• Secure Certificate (SSL) needs to be discussed but is available
